Institutional Bylaws

The formal framework and governance principles guiding the academic excellence and ethical standards of IEARC.

Article 1: Name and Purpose

The name of the organization shall be the Institute for East Asian Religions & Cultures (IEARC). The primary purpose of this Institute is to foster rigorous academic research and promote international dialogue regarding the diverse religious and cultural heritage of East Asia.

Article 2: Organization and Leadership

The Institute shall be led by a Director appointed by Daejin University. The Leadership Team, including Executive Officers and Research Fellows, shall oversee the planning and execution of research projects, international conferences, and scholarly publications.

Article 3: Board of Advisors

The Board of Advisors shall consist of distinguished scholars and experts who provide strategic counsel and evaluate the Institute's long-term academic direction and research quality.

Article 4: Research Fellowship

Research Fellows are selected based on their academic expertise and contribution to East Asian studies. They are expected to adhere to the highest standards of research ethics and actively participate in the Institute’s collaborative initiatives.

Article 5: Amendments

These bylaws may be amended or revised through a formal review process by the Executive Committee, subject to approval by the University administration.
